Prior to Waxing:
Hair Length: from 1/8 - 1/4 inch
If hair tends to be stubborn/coarse, then longer is better (1/2 inch). If hair is too long, it can pull, so please trim to 1/4 inch. Use caution so as not to injure yourself. Technicians can trim the back for men if necessary. Do not use clippers as it can trim the hair too short.
Areas that have been shaved for a period of time need to be on the longer side, as the hair tends to be more coarse and stubborn. Lightly exfoliate underarms, bikini, arms, and/or legs prior to waxing for more efficient removal.
Cycles:
Hair may grow back as quickly as three weeks if you have been shaving in the area that has been waxed. Continued waxing is important to slow those growth cycles down. Each time you wax the regrowth process slows down. Underarms have the quickest cycles, while arms seem to be the slowest. Bikini waxing averages 3-5 weeks in high season(metabolism speeds up) and legs can average 4-6 weeks.
